Elderly Neighbour Watch
Empowering Elderly Communities for Better Living
What We Do
Elderly Neighbour Watch is a community-based initiative on a mission to reduce social isolation among seniors. We bring together caring volunteers who offer free, local support for everyday tasks—like groceries, light housekeeping, and friendly visits—to help older adults live more independently and stay connected within their neighborhoods.
Why it Matters?
Why Elderly Neighbour Watch is Needed
Across Lithuania and beyond, more and more seniors are living alone, lacking daily human contact, and facing mobility or financial challenges. Research shows that consistent social interaction can greatly improve mental health, reduce healthcare costs, and enhance overall well-being. Elderly Neighbour Watch bridges gaps in existing care services by focusing on practical help and meaningful social connections—all at no cost to seniors.
